She earned the America East Player of the Year in May after leading the conference in hits (58), home runs (10) and total bases (101). In her pursuit of a communications degree, fulfilled the requirements for the softball nominee by serving as a starter at second base and maintaining at least a 3.2 GPA. Waters was also an America East All-Academic team selection and earned All-District accolades from ESPN the Magazine and CoSIDA. A member of the America East Commissioner's Honor Roll, Waters, an incoming senior, played for the Stratford Brakettes this summer. |
