Joseph Ekuom, 38, a Kenyan citizen and professional runner currently residing in the Bronx, NY, dominated the 30th annual Pat Polletta 5K Road Race, clocking nearly a minute faster than his closest competitor in 15:24. Ekuom led wire-to-wire, posting a one-mile split of 4:40. Dedham's Lee Danforth placed second overall in 16:14. |
