Police responded to 28 Collins St. about 10:25 p.m. after reports of a fight and found an unresponsive man outside the restaurant, according to a statement from the state attorney general's office. Witnesses reported that the man, 42-year-old Scott Allen Eaton, had been injured in an altercation at the restaurant. Eaton was transported to Anna Jaques Hospital and then to Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, where he was pronounced dead early yesterday morning. |

He said Amesbury police Officers Tony Lesage, David Noyes and Steven Reed were first on the scene and helped stabilize the semisubmerged car.
