As we roll towards Thursday's NBA Draft, here's a recap of some Gary Forbes news:

• NBADraft.net is projecting Forbes to go to the Clippers with the 35th pick.

• The Sports Network lists Forbes as among the players who could be a goof fit coming off the bench for your NBA Champion Celtics, providing a little backcourt depth. Not only did Danny Ainge attend at least one UMass game last season, but I've often thought of Forbes' skill-set as being in the vein of Paul Pierce -- albeit with less consistency on the long-range jumper.

• Another mock draft sending Forbes to Portland at 36. Somewhere in the early second round seems to be the conventional wisdom.

• CollegeHoopsNet interviews Assistant Director of NBA Scouting Ryan Blake, who has this to say:

Gary Forbes is the guy that I think it doesn't matter where he gets drafted or not get drafted, I think he's going to make a team.
